Location of the college: Towards the East of the District Headquarters of Cooch Behar and at a distance of around 40 km from Cooch Behar town the College is situated near Assam border in the Bakshirhat (Tufanganj-II) Block. Two to three km from NH 31 in Bhankumari I GP the dream college is located.

Land and Building: The college has an area of over ten bighas in which a one storied building stands.

Hostel: With Govt. grant the construction of a hostel building for the SC/ST girls has already been started an one & a half bigha of land near the College Building.

College Canteen: There is a canteen for college students, which remain open during college hour.

National Recognition: Efforts are being made to get recognition under section 2(f) and 12 B of the University grants Commission (UGC).

Teaching Staff: The college has a high-profile Teaching staff. All the teachers are highly motivated, resourceful, hard working, devoted and sincere, having attended a number of seminars/workshops/Courses sponsored both by UGC and other agencies. They leave no stone unturned in trying to satisfy the analytical and ever curious minds of the students and always take personal care of the all-round development of the college.

Library: There is a good library having around Three thousand books and a number of periodicals. There is also a Book Bank facility for the students.

National Service Scheme: The college has two units of NSS. The programme officer for the first Unit is Mr. Laltu Barman, Assistant Professor in Bengali and for the second unit is Mr. Kartick Saha, Assistant Professor in History. Unit – III is in process.
